Book review : PUCKED By Helena Hunting SPOILERS

PUCKED (Pucked, #1)PUCKED by Helena Hunting
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Febuary 9- 15

With a famous NHL player for a step-brother, Violet Hall is well acquainted with the playboy reputation many hockey stars come with. She’s smart enough to steer clear of those hot, well-built boys with unparalleled stamina. That is until she meets the legendary team captain—Alex Waters.

Violet isn’t interested in his pretty, beat-up face, or his rock-hard six-pack abs. But when Alex inadvertently obliterates Violet’s previous misapprehension regarding the inferior intellect of hockey players, he becomes more than just a hot body with a face to match.

In what can only be considered a complete lapse in judgment, Violet finds out just how good Alex is with the hockey stick in his pants. But what starts out as a one-night stand, quickly turns into something more. Post-night of orgasmic magic, Alex starts to call, and text, and e-mail and send extravagant—and quirky—gifts, making him difficult to ignore, and even more difficult not to like.

The problem is, the media portrays Alex as a total player, and Violet doesn’t want to be part of the game. 18+

Review- I loved this book it was so cute and funny Violet is dragged to her step brother's Hockey game and there she meets Alex who is a hockey player who has reputation that isn't exactly true Alex and Violet get talking and she kisses him she goes back to her hotel and he calls her she thought it was buck so she embarrass herself and she goes to his hotel room and they hook up twice . She leaves and Alex really likes Violet and he calls her when she gets back home Alex starts sending things to Violet and it's so cute . Violet thinks Alex is a play boy and he hooks up with a bunch of puck bunnies but they talk that he really isn't a playboy that's just how it looks in the media they go on an amazing first date and she plays air hockey with him and she spends the night . She decides to surprise Alex at his game but he gets kicked out so she goes into the locker room and they kind of end up hooking up and the whole hockey team including Violet's stepbrother end up seeing what's going on after some yelling from Buck he punches Alex and Alex tells everyone that violet's his girlfriend . Violet meets Alex's family his mother I wasn't a fan his dad was cool his sister ends up going out with Buck which I didn't see coming . Alex's manager want's Alex to keep his relationship quiet what a DICK , Alex asks Violet to move in with him and she agrees and at the game is when it all goes to hell they win but Alex tells the media that Violet is just a friend oh god Alex so dumb . Alex loves Violet he fires his manger and is determined to get her back she moves out of her parents place and she is sad and broken but in a interview Alex tells Violet he loves her and she goes to the game and he tells her again they kiss and there back together she does finally end up moving in with Alex and he proposes to her it was amazing I loved this book onto the next one .
Quotes-
“What is that?” The question is inane. But, honestly, what the fuck am I supposed to do with this? Alex chuckles nervously. As is appropriate since I’m holding his dick and I’m clearly not sane. “I mean, I know what it is. Obviously. Do you have some kind of . . . disorder? Like elephantiasis of the penis or something?” I did not say that out loud. “It’s not that big.” His erection slides in my grip. I can’t stop staring. My thumb and middle finger must have a good inch or more before they can meet. I squeeze to see if it helps bring them closer together. It doesn’t. What it does is make Alex groan, and that, oh holy monster of cock, is one hot noise.”

“I don’t like big weddings.” Her panic is clear. “All those people make me nervous. I’ll mess up the vows and say something inappropriate.”
“It doesn’t have to be big. It can be just the two of us if you want. We can wait until next summer—or the one after if a year isn’t long enough. We can get married up here by a justice of the peace on the end of the dock at sunset. A damn Rastafarian can perform the ceremony if that’s what you want. I don’t care about the wedding part. All I want to be is connected to you in the most significant way possible. I want you as my wife.”

“What's going on here?" Buck asks just as loudly, gesturing wildly with his giant, hairy knuckled hands.
"I'm sucking his dick," I say sarcastically. Sometimes I wish my mouth didn't have a faulty connection to my brain allowing everything to come out unfiltered.
Alex coughs, his fingers twitching on my hip, and Buck's face turns an unnatural shade of red. This is such an odd situation; the awkwardness causes me to continue to spew idiocy.
"Fine, you got me. I wasn't sucking his dick. We were fucking each other's mouths with our tongues. This is otherwise referred to as kissing, but mouth fucking sounds way dirtier, so I'm gonna go with that.”

I’m so pucked. There’d better be a support group for hockey hookers.”

Book review : 44 chapters about 4 men by B.B Easton SPOILERS

44 Chapters About 4 Men: A Memoir44 Chapters About 4 Men: A Memoir by B.B. Easton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Verdict : So funny
Febuary 9- 12

School psychologists aren’t supposed to write books about sex. Doing so would be considered “unethical” and “a fireable offense.” Lucky for you, ethics was never my strong suit.

After spending years trying to spice up my sex life, I gave up and took to my journal. Perhaps my gorgeous, cold, number crunching husband simply wasn’t capable of the kind of passion I’d come to expect. After all, my ex-boyfriends—a skinhead turned US Marine turned motorcycle club outlaw, a baby-faced punk rocker out on parole, and a heavy-metal bass player—were every bit as tattooed and testosterone-fueled as the leading men in my favorite romance novels. If I couldn’t have that kind of passion again in real life, at least I could write about it. Right? Nobody had to know. It would be my little secret.

Well, guess what? My husband read that shit.

And guess what else? He upped his fucking game.

Drunk with power and under the dubious advisement of my best friend and colleague, I began testing the limits—crafting journal entries specifically designed to manipulate Ken’s behavior. For the most part, he responded beautifully…except when he didn’t.

Told through actual journal entries, steamy short stories, personal emails, a few haikus, and at least one dirty limerick, 44 Chapters About 4 Men chronicles the year I spent toying with my husband’s mind and ignoring all ethical standards of psychology. I decided to publish it in the hopes that someone out there might benefit from my discovery—or at least laugh at it—but in doing so I’m risking more than just my career. If word of this book gets back to Ken, I could lose the very man I’ve worked so hard to perfect.

Review - I loved this book I was laughing my ass off when BB talks about her ex boyfriends and her husband . BB ends up writing a journal about her ex boyfriends and planting fake stuff for her husband Ken to find I think every girl should read this this book was hot and funny and all the guys in the book were entertaining Ken's my favorite though .
Quotes-I'm going to go back into the bathroom and we're going to try this again . only this time , when I come out here , you are going to say , you look nice , and I'm not going to stab your dick with my stiletto

I haven't slept in like three days because I know the second I close my eyes Ken is going to , shh. shh, shh, and smother me with a pillow .

Book Review : Everything , Everything by Nicola Yoon SPOILIERS

Everything, EverythingEverything, Everything by Nicola Yoon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Verdict  :  So beautiful
December 29- January 19

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

Review- This book was beautiful . This is about Maddy who is allergic to the world she can't go outside but when a new neighbor moves next door everything changes his name is Olly he has a tough home life his dad is a drunk and abuses his family . So they start messaging each other she wants to meet Olly and she finds a way how I love the way they talk to each other Olly is adorable he wears all black clothing and loves jumping and moving his body they start to fall for each other then end up kissing . one night Olly's father is beating up Olly she freaks and goes outside her mom freaks . And her mom takes away the computer so they have problems contacting each other . Maddy leaves her house and goes to Olly they decide to go on a trip Hawaii she told him she had pills so they leave and go there and they swim they eat she loves him he loves her they have a very intimate moment oh my god :O and then Maddy gets sick she goes back home she tells him that there wasn't pills and she ends the talking with Olly even though she misses him but when she gets an email telling her she was never sick she starts to suspect and she finds out she was never sick her mom lied to her . Maddy's mom went though a lot when her husband and son were killed and she never healed . Maddy goes to NYC to go to Olly and the scene in the bookstore so cute I loved this book beautiful writing so amazing .
Quotes-Love is worth everything. Everything.”

Sometimes I reread my favorite books from back to front. I start with the last chapter and read backward until I get to the beginning. When you read this way, characters go from hope to despair, from self-knowledge to doubt. In love stories, couples start out as lovers and end as strangers. Coming-of-age books become stories of losing your way. Your favorite characters come back to life.”

I read once that, on average, we replace the majority of our cells every seven years. Even more amazing: we change the upper layers of our skin every two weeks. If all the cells in our body did this, we’d be immortal. But some of our cells, like the ones in our brains, don’t renew. They age, and age us. In two weeks my skin will have no memory of Olly’s hand on mine, but my brain will remember. We can have immortality or the memory of touch. But we can’t have both.

You can't predict the future. It turns out that you can't predict the past either. Time moves in both directions - forward and backward - and what happens here and now changes them both.”

Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

Whatcha making?” I call out to Tucker. “Soup,” he calls back. “And baking some bread.” I sigh. “Sometimes I worry about him,” I tell Allie. “The more domestic he gets, the bigger the risk of his penis falling off.” She tsks in disapproval. “Sexist bastard.” “I think you mean sexy bastard,” I say helpfully. “No, I got it right the first time.”

Life hack: if you don’t want someone asking you questions, say the word tampon, and the conversation ends.”

“surprised his head doesn’t spin and his eyeballs don’t bug out. “Um.” His gaze bounces around the bathroom like a rubber ball. He looks at the towel rack, where his cargo pants are hanging. He looks at the bathtub, where I’m lounging like Cleo-fucking-patra. He looks at the bubbles surrounding my body like a fluffy white cloud. And then he looks at Winston. “Dude,” I blurt out. “It’s not what it looks like.” “Nope, nope, nope, I don’t want to know!”

I told you, my dad made sure I knew self-defense.” “Well, kudos to your dad for making sure you could protect yourself. Followed by a fuck you to your dad for turning you into a deadly weapon.”

January 13-14

He's a player in more ways than one…

College junior John Logan can get any girl he wants. For this hockey star, life is a parade of parties and hookups, but behind his killer grins and easygoing charm, he hides growing despair about the dead-end road he'll be forced to walk after graduation. A sexy encounter with freshman Grace Ivers is just the distraction he needs, but when a thoughtless mistake pushes her away, Logan plans to spend his final year proving to her that he's worth a second chance.

Now he's going to need to up his game…

After a less than stellar freshman year, Grace is back at Briar University, older, wiser, and so over the arrogant hockey player she nearly handed her V-card to. She's not a charity case, and she's not the quiet butterfly she was when they first hooked up. If Logan expects her to roll over and beg like all his other puck bunnies, he can think again. He wants her back? He'll have to work for it. This time around, she'll be the one in the driver's seat, and she plans on driving him wild.

Review - I loved this series it just gets better and better with each book . Quotes-
I’m comfortable enough with my hetero status to say that if I did play for the other team? I wouldn’t just fuck Garrett Graham, I’d marry him.

Jesus Christ, will you quit dictating this conversation to Hannah?' I grumble. 'Bros before hos, dude.'
'Call my girlfriend a ho one more time and you won't have a bro.”

Just as the door opens, I look intently at the screen and act like I'm still chatting with her mother. '--And she stuck her finger in my ass when she was blowing me, which was fucking incredible. I never thought I'd enjoy having anything up there, but--'
Grace screams in horror.”

“Seriously, dude, put on a shirt.”

“Hey, you know what they say,” Dean drawls. “If you’ve got it, flaunt it.”

“No, I’m pretty sure they say put on a shirt when you go for a run, you cocky narcissist.”

His jaw drops. “Narcissist? More like realist. Look at these abs, Wellsy. Actually, touch them. Seriously. It will change your life.”

Oh, he’s joining the team,” Dean declares. “I don’t care if I have to suck his dick to get him to agree to it.”

Laughter breaks out all around him.

“Sucking dick now, are we?” I ask pleasantly.

An evil gleam lights his eyes. “You know what? I won’t just suck it,” he says slowly. “I’ll suck him off. You know, give him an orgasm.”

The other guys exchange mystified looks, but Dean’s mocking look tells me exactly where he’s going with this. Jackass.

“I’m not sure if you all know this, but an orgasm is the point of completion in the pleasure process.” Dean gives me an innocent smile. “Men and women achieve it in different ways. For example, when a woman reaches completion, she might moan or gasp or—
I swear on all that is holy—if one of you doesn’t tell me what the hell just went down here, I’m going to lose my shit.”

I chuckle. “My girl wanted me to send her a boudoir shot of me on a red velvet chaise lounge, but you have no idea how hard it is to find a goddamn red velvet chaise lounge.”

“You say this as if it’s an explanation. It is not.” Justin sighs like the weight of the world rests on his shoulders. “You hockey players are fucked up.”
