Book review - first night by Lauren Blakely
First Night by Lauren Blakely
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
summary -An erotic novella from the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author Lauren Blakely...
It was only supposed to be one night…
When the sinfully handsome man walks into her bar in San Francisco, Julia Bell simply wants a break from the troubles that keep chasing her. That escape comes in the form of sexy, confident and commanding Clay Nichols, who captivates her mind AND turns her inside out with pleasure. The attraction is electric and they share one scorchingly hot night together, but they also discover there is more than just off-the-charts chemistry; the connection between them runs deep. Clay never thought he’d return to New York with this woman still on his mind. But he can’t get her out of his system, and he needs more of her…He wants more than just the first night…
*This is a prequel novella to the erotic romance NIGHT AFTER NIGHT.*

Review - Julia is a bartender who is looking for a real man not a man who orders girly drinks and thinks they can get away with cheesy pick up lines so when her older sister tells her that she told Clay to come down to her bar he does and that have one amazing night of lust and amazing sex I loved this book it's not what I usually read but it was good they both have been hurt by ex's they have that amazing night together and then clay leaves Julia thinks she would never hear from clay again but she does and he invites her to new york for the weekend lets see what happens next .

Review - this book was amazing I like it way better than clockwork angel . So when will was 12 a demon cursed him that anyone who ever loves him will die so will is determined to get the curse off him so he can tell Tessa how he feel at this point I'm like is this why your an asshole cause that would explain it . The institute might be taken away from Charlotte damn Benedict I hate him so they have a time Liment to find mortimain and oh Sophie and Tessa have to be trained by Gabriel and Gideon I like Gideon and Sophie together I loved the part when Sophie hit hit Gabriel I was laughing so hard . Oh Tessa and Jem I was like do I like them together or her with will and I still don't know I love both of them but after will discovers there was so curse he goes to Tessa but Jem asks Tessa to marry him that is bad timing and when will was confessing his love and I was crying and yelling no no no cause she's engaged and of course she doesn't believe your in love with her cause of what you've done to her . I did like the makeout scene at the ball they had to go to where Tessa had to be be Jessamine cause oh jessamine is with Nate and there '' married '' And they drink this lemonade which has warlock powder in it . I really loved this book the part with Charlotte and Henry they really do love each other they got to keep the Instuite Charlotte is going to have a baby aww oh and Cecily will's sister arrives awesome book .
Favorite quotes. So you're suggesting we take the train up to York , to meet a ninety-year old man , leap on him , and yank out his hair ? I'm Sure the clave will be ecstatic . Page 74
I swear that woman had a previous career as a death-hunter selling tragic ballads down the seven dials , said will . And I do wish she wouldn't sing about poisoning just after we've eaten . Page 214
"When we run the institute he said pitching his voice loud enough for will to hear , " this training room will be far better kept up and supplied ." Tessa looked at him angrily . "Amazing that I don't like you, isn't it ? Page 216
You speak of sacrifice , but it is not my sacrifice I offer , it is yours I ask of you , he went on . I can offer you my heart , Though I have no idea how many more beats it shall sustain . But I love you enough to hope that you will not care that I am being selfish in trying to make the rest of my life - whatever it's length - happy , by spending it with you . I want to be married to you , Tessa I want it more than I have ever wanted anything in my life . Page 430
It was books that kept me from taking my own life after I thought I could never love anyone never be loved by anyone again . It was books that made me feel that perhaps I was not completely alone . thay could be honest with me , and I with them. Page 468

All her life, Imogene has been known as the girl on THAT blog.
Imogene's mother has been writing an incredibly embarrassing, and incredibly popular, blog about her since before she was born. Hundreds of thousands of perfect strangers knew when Imogene had her first period. Imogene's crush saw her "before and after" orthodontia photos. But Imogene is fifteen now, and her mother is still blogging about her, in gruesome detail, against her will.
When a mandatory school project compels Imogene to start her own blog, Imogene is reluctant to expose even more of her life online...until she realizes that the project is the opportunity she's been waiting for to tell the truth about her life under the virtual microscope and to define herself for the first time.
Don't Call Me Baby is a sharply observed and irrepressibly charming story about mothers and daughters, best friends and first crushes, and the surface-level identities we show the world online and the truth you can see only in real life
this book sounds funny and cute

Book review of bossypants by Tina fey
Bossypants by Tina Fey
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Read from April 15-16
Summary
Before Liz Lemon, before "Weekend Update," before "Sarah Palin," Tina Fey was just a young girl with a dream: a recurring stress dream that she was being chased through a local airport by her middle-school gym teacher. She also had a dream that one day she would be a comedian on TV.
She has seen both these dreams come true.
At last, Tina Fey's story can be told. From her youthful days as a vicious nerd to her tour of duty on Saturday Night Live; from her passionately halfhearted pursuit of physical beauty to her life as a mother eating things off the floor; from her one-sided college romance to her nearly fatal honeymoon -- from the beginning of this paragraph to this final sentence.
Tina Fey reveals all, and proves what we've all suspected: you're no one until someone calls you bossy.
(Includes Special, Never-Before-Solicited Opinions on Breastfeeding, Princesses, Photoshop, the Electoral Process, and Italian Rum Cake!)
Review - What I thought of this book was it was funny I read it with the audiobook and I was laughing crazy I just started watching 30 rock and I wanted to read this and I loved it it was funny and witty and I loved it go read it and Tina fey is awesome .
Fav quote“Right up until camera time, I was sweaty and green from having to touch my own eyeballs like that. If you've never had to do it, I'd say it's not as quease-making as when you lose your first tampon string, but equally as queasish to a self-breast exam. If you are male, I would liken it to touching your own eyeball, and thank you for buying this book.”

Lilah and Ben. They are meant to be a thing.
Well, they were. The best thing ever. That was until Lilah decided to teach herself a lesson and let go of Ben since she’s learned The Art of Letting Go.
Now it’s a new academic year, and Lilah has it all to play for and it all to lose as she battles scary lecturers, evil PR girls, and her own inability to make the right decision at the right time.
Life has moved on for Lilah and her friends, and life off campus is more complicated than any of them would have guessed. As the reality of being second-year students sets in and the study starts to build up, cracks begin to appear in the very fabric of their friendships. There is a chance that none of them are going to complete Year Two in one piece.
Facing down her worst enemy, herself, Lilah has to try and change her own past mistakes when she realizes that the only way she is going to get the future she wants is if she manages to learn The Art of Keeping Faith in herself.
The Art of Keeping Faith is the second year in The Uni File Series and continues Lilah McCannon’s diary as she searches for love, tries to find and earn trust, and ultimately discovers who she is really meant to be.
Sometimes the only way to meet your future is to face your past.
I really want to read this it's not on amazon for some weird reason so I'm just wating but I can't wait to read it .

Fair enough , I'll drop it . But first I need to lay down some rules . No holding hands until your at least eleven and a half . No kissing until your thirteen. And no tongue until your fourteen. “Does he treat you with respect at all times? That’s the first question. The second question is, if he is the exact same person twenty years from now that he is today, would you still want to marry him? And finally, does he inspire to be a better person? You find someone you can answer yes to all three, then you’ve found a good man

What's on my hold list
At twenty-two years old, Sydney is enjoying a great life: She's in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers that Hunter is cheating on her-and she's forced to decide what her next move should be. Soon, Sydney finds herself captivated by her mysterious and attractive neighbor, Ridge. She can't take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there's something about Sydney that Ridge can't ignore, either. They soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one. A passionate tale of friendship, betrayal, and romance, Maybe Someday will immerse readers in Sydney's tumultuous world from the very first page.

Lois Lowry's The Giver is the quintessential dystopian novel, followed by its remarkable companions, Gathering Blue , Messenge r, and Son . Jonas's world is perfect. Everything is under control. There is no war or fear of pain. There are no choices. Every person is assigned a role in the community. When Jonas turns 12 he is singled out to receive special training from The Giver. The Giver alone holds the memories of the true pain and pleasure of life. Now, it is time for Jonas to receive the truth. There is no turning back.
Panic began as so many things do in Carp, a poor town of twelve thousand people in the middle of nowhere: because it was summer, and there was nothing else to do. Heather never thought she would compete in panic, a legendary game played by graduating seniors, where the stakes are high and the payoff is even higher. She'd never thought of herself as fearless, the kind of person who would fight to stand out. But when she finds something, and someone, to fight for, she will discover that she is braver than she ever thought. Dodge has never been afraid of panic. His secret will fuel him, and get him all the way through the game; he's sure of it. But what he doesn't know is that he's not the only one with a secret. Everyone has something to play for. For Heather and Dodge, the game will bring new alliances, unexpected revelations, and the possibility of first love for each of them--and the knowledge that sometimes the very things we fear are those we need the most. In this gritty, spellbinding novel, New York Times bestselling author Lauren Oliver delivers a gripping narrative of friendship, courage, survival, and hope.

Audiobooks
I was listening to my audiobook . and I was thinking are people pro audiobook or anti audiobook . I'm very pro audiobook I've read over 34 books with audiobooks . I think I love audiobooks because it feels like someone is telling me the story I'm reading . it's enjoyable the thing that can break an audiobook with me is the narrator . if the narrator doesn't fit with the tone of the book I'm not going to like the audiobook .but other than that I love audiobooks I'm doing the audiobook challenge this year. have you ever listened to an audiobook .
