I don't have kids but as a kid my mom use to read to me all the time and I think I got intrested in reading because of that I loved stories and and wanted to know the written word but you can't force kids to love reading because there going to see it as a chore not something they can love but maybe if you take your kid to the library or bookstore and tell him or her to pick out a book they want maybe start with audiobooks my mom use to bring audiobooks in the car with me when I was little .
