Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
So wrong for each other
and yet so right. No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth.
But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common.
Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can PUSH THE LIMITS and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her HOW TO LOVE AGAIN.

Review - Echo use to be normal until one night she got scars on her arms and doesn't remember why now she is a freak. Noah lost his parents and now he's trying to get his brothers back . Echo and Noah don't get along at first but it seams they have allot more in common and Echo falls for Noah and the other way around Echo still doesn't remember why her mom tried to kill her and Noah is trying to adopt his brothers problem Carrie and joe the parents that his brothers have now . But why Echo and Noah fall for each other they know there for each other they go through allot I loved this book it felt so real out of all the contemporary's i've read .
Favorite quote - “If you’re scared, tell me. If you need to cry and scream, then do it. And you sure as hell don’t walk away from us because you think it would be better for me. Here’s the reality, Echo: I want to be by your side. If you want to go to the mall stark naked so you can show the world your scars, then let me hold your hand. If you want to see your mom, then tell me that too. I may not always understand, but damn, baby, I’ll try.”
“It doesn't get better," I said. "The pain. The wounds scab over and you don't always feel like a knife is slashing through you. But when you least expect it, the pain flashes to remind you you'll never be the same.”
