favorite  Quote I always felt sorry for humans, spending so much time in front of the mirror. Fixing their hair, makeup, and clothes, mostly to impress others. Did they really see themselves in the mirror? Was it what they wanted to see? Did it make them feel good or bad? And mostly I wondered if they based their self-image on their reflected one.”

Book review the duff

The Duff: Designated Ugly Fat FriendTitle the duff
Release date September 7 2010
Summary Seventeen-year-old Bianca Piper is cynical and loyal, and she doesn’t think she’s the prettiest of her friends by a long shot. She’s also way too smart to fall for the charms of man-slut and slimy school hottie Wesley Rush. In fact, Bianca hates him. And when he nicknames her “the Duff,” she throws her Coke in his face.

But things aren’t so great at home right now, and Bianca is desperate for a distraction. She ends up kissing Wesley. Worse, she likes it. Eager for escape, Bianca throws herself into a closeted enemies-with-benefits relationship with him.
Until it all goes horribly awry. It turns out Wesley isn’t such a bad listener, and his life is pretty screwed up, too. Suddenly Bianca realizes with absolute horror that she’s falling for the guy she thought she hated more than anyone.

Favorite quote “Spanish, huh?" he said, glancing down at the scattered papers as
he grabbed them. "Can you say anything interesting?"
"El tono de tu voz hace que queria estrangularme." I stood up and waited for him to hand over my papers.
"That sounds sexy," he said, getting to his feet and handing me the stack of Spanish work he'd swept together. "What's it mean?"
"The sound of your voice makes me want to strangle myself."
"Kinky.”

Review-
when Bianca piper goes out with her friends Casey and Jessica at the nest the teen club she doesn't really have a great time and the day when Wesley rush calls her the Duff the dumb ugly fat friend she was pissed I mean I would of been to . Bianca isn't a the biggest fan of Wesley he's a manwhore a womanizer and she is the duff but when some family issues come up she needs a stress relief so she ends of sleeping with Wesley more than once and it turns into a web of lies with her friends her dad starts drinking again and it just becomes to much and when she starts to fall for Wesley she breaks it off and starts to date Toby who she has had a crush on for three years but there doesn't seam to be a connection and when Wesley just tells her how she feels she couldn't lie to herself anymore I loved this book it made me laugh and it was cute .

Book review -ten things we did and probably shouldn't have

Title - Ten things we did (and probably shouldn't have)
Author - Sarah Mlynowwski
pages 368
release - June 7th 2011
Publisher haper teen

Summary -2 girls + 3 guys + 1 house – parents = 10 things April and her friends did that they (definitely, maybe, probably) shouldn't have.

If given the opportunity, what sixteen-year-old wouldn't jump at the chance to move in with a friend and live parent-free? Although maybe "opportunity" isn't the right word, since April had to tell her dad a tiny little untruth to make it happen (see #1: "Lied to Our Parents"). But she and her housemate Vi are totally responsible and able to take care of themselves. How they ended up "Skipping School" (#3), "Throwing a Crazy Party" (#8), "Buying a Hot Tub" (#4), and, um, "Harboring a Fugitive" (#7) at all is kind of a mystery to them.

Review - When April's Dad and Step mom tell her that she's moving from Connecticut to ohio she is not pleased she would be loosing her boyfriend her friends and her life but then she subjects that she could live at Vi's house for Junior year but it turns on that Vi's mom is doing a play in Chicago so they lie make fake emails and mostly cause allot of drama April's boyfriend Noah starts to act weird she befriends vi friend Hutson who so likes her and Vi tells april she's a virgin and decided to have sex with Hutson's brother Dean which is not good because Dean likes vi and vi isn't looking for a boyfriend but when April finally sleeps with Noah things are still weird cause something bad happens and it ruins there relationship and Dean and vi get together which is so cute cause they finally admited it and hutson kisses April aw so cute and for senior year april moves to paris with her mom.

Summary- Anya could really use a friend. But her new BFF isn’t kidding about the “Forever” part . . .

Of all the things Anya expected to find at the bottom of an old well, a new friend was not one of them. Especially not a new friend who’s been dead for a century.

Falling down a well is bad enough, but Anya’s normal life might actually be worse. She’s embarrassed by her family, self-conscious about her body, and she’s pretty much given up on fitting in at school. A new friend—even a ghost—is just what she needs.

Or so she thinks.
