When BFFs Charlie, Taylor and Jamie go to SupaCon, they know it’s going to be a blast. What they don’t expect is for it to change their lives forever.

Charlie likes to stand out. SupaCon is her chance to show fans she’s over her public breakup with co-star, Reese Ryan. When Alyssa Huntington arrives as a surprise guest, it seems Charlie’s long-time crush on her isn’t as one-sided as she thought.

While Charlie dodges questions about her personal life, Taylor starts asking questions about her own.

Taylor likes to blend in. Her brain is wired differently, making her fear change. And there’s one thing in her life she knows will never change: her friendship with Jamie—no matter how much she may secretly want it to. But when she hears about the Queen Firestone SupaFan Contest, she starts to rethink her rules on playing it safe.

Taylor and Jamie end up not being able to meet taylor's favorite author but Jamie tells Taylor about this contest but she doesn't want to enter cause of her anxiety until she meets Josie a girl with autism and Taylor decides to run . Charlie wants to avoid to asshole ex boyfriend and there is this girl she really likes who is also a youtuber they end up filming a colab and end up kissing and then they plan to have a date . Charlie's ex boyfriend ends up telling taylor the only way she's become a writer is if she sleeps with someone and he ends up punching Jamie this guy is an asshole . Charlie does this live action thing for her movie and Taylor and Jamie end up Joining in the maze and Taylor and Jamie kiss I was so happy for them but Taylor freaked out Jamie thought he was pressuring her but she wanted to kiss him . Charlie and Alyssa's kiss gets leaked and she's freaking out and Alyssa doesn't want to hide the relationship so Charlie makes a speech and her and Alyssa talk . Jamie and Taylor end up being able to go to the party and Taylor meets her favorite author this was such a cute book I loved it .
That's what we do. We walk a tightrope every day. Getting out the door is a tightrope. Going grocery shopping is a tightrope. Socializing is a tightrope. Things that most people consider to be normal, daily parts of life are the very things we fear and struggle with the most, and yet here we are, moving forward anyway. That's not weak.”

“My bottom lip starts to quiver, but I keep going. “I fight every day, and too many times it’s just not enough and the fear wins. I’m so fucking weak and everything is so fucking intense and sometimes I really hate it.” I gasp, covering my mouth with my hands as the tears pour out of me. I didn’t mean to say all that. I feel exposed. Tears fill her eyes, too. “Can I hug you?” I nod, unable to speak. She walks around the table and hugs me.”

Saving Raphael Santiago (The Bane Chronicles, #6)Saving Raphael Santiago by Cassandra Clare
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

July 2-6

A Manhattan teen—Raphael Santiago—is missing, and Magnus Bane must track him down before it’s too late. One of ten adventures in The Bane Chronicles.

In 1950s New York City, a distraught mother hires Magnus Bane to find her missing son, Raphael. But even if he can be found, is Raphael beyond saving?

Review : I loved this one Raphael is a very interesting character I loved his exchanges with Magnus . Raphael's mother hires Magnus to find Raphael and Magnus finds him but as a vampire and Magnus takes him and helps him control so he can see his mother I really enjoyed this story .

“How many times have I told you, Magnus? Behave professionaly in a professional setting. Which means no being rude to Nephilim, and also no getting attached to Nephilim."
"I never get attached to Nephilim!" Magnus protested.
Ragnor coughed, and in the midst of the cough said something that sounded like "blerondale."
"Well," said Magnus. "Hardly ever.”

Magnus had often thought of getting a pet, but he had never considered acquiring a sullen teenage vampire. Once Raphael was gone, he thought, he was getting a cat. And he would always throw his cat a birthday party.”

Oh no, Raphael, please don't leave me," Magnus said in a monotone. "Where would I be without the light of your sweet smile? If you go, I will throw myself upon the ground and weep." hair
"Will you?" asked Raphael, raising one thin eyebrow. "Because if you do, I will stay and watch the show.”

Oh wait . You think I'm dating Raphael ? Magnus asked . Raphael ? That's ridiculous . That's- That's the most revolting idea I've ever heard . Raphael's voice rang out to the ceilling . Probally people in the the street could hear him . That's a little strong , said Magnus . And frankly , hurtful. And if I did wish to indulge in unnatural persuits- andlet me be clear , I Certainly do not , Raphael continued scornfully , as if I would choose hi, . Him! He dresses like a maniac , acts like a fool , and makes worse jokes thank the man people throw rotten eggs at outside the dew drop every Saturday . Ragnor began to laugh . Better men than you have begged for a change to win all this , Magnus muttered . They have fought duels in my honor . One man fought a duel for my honor , but that was a little embarrassing since it is long gone . Do you know he spends hours in the bathroom sometimes ? Raphael announced mercilessly . H wastes actual magic on his hair . On his hair . I love this kid , Said Ragnor.

The Rise of the Hotel Dumort (The Bane Chronicles, #5)The Rise of the Hotel Dumort by Cassandra Clare

The immortal Magnus Bane is making the most of his time in the Roaring Twenties: He's settled into New York society and is thriving among the fashionable jazz set. And there is nowhere better to see and be seen than the glamorous Hotel Dumort, a glittering new addition to the Manhattan landscape. But a different type of glamour may be at play...

“Come with me."
"Come with you? To Pandemonium? To the Void? And here I thought that my invitation to summer in New Jersey was the worst I had ever received.”

What is Aldous capable of?"
"Aldous is two thousands years old. He's capable of anything."

Book review : The Midnight Heir Cassandra Clare SPOILERS

The Midnight Heir (The Bane Chronicles #4)The Midnight Heir by Cassandra Clare
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 29-29
Magnus thought he would never return to London, but he is lured by a handsome offer from Tatiana Blackthorn, whose plans—involving her beautiful young ward—are far more sinister than Magnus even suspects. In London at the turn of the century, Magnus finds old friends, and meets a very surprising young man . . . the sixteen-year-old James Herondale.

Review : This one has been my favorite one so far Magnus meets James Herondale . Will and tessa's son and hes a rough one he believes he is damned and we got to see Jem, Tessa and will all together and James thinking he's king of the ducks ha . And then we have the lightwoods crazy sister who wants Magnus to kill five shadowhunters wtf but I loved this story .

Quotes : “Do stop flirting with my husband," said Tessa.
"I shall not," Magnus declared, "but I will pause briefly so that I may catch up on your news.”

“Then I lost him for a brief period of time, and by the time I caught up with him, he had wandered into Hyde Park, waded into the Serpetine, spread his arms wide, and was shouting, 'Ducks, embrace me as your king

“Let me say to you what I said once, in an entirely different context to Catherine the Great," Magnus declared. "My dear lady, you cannot afford me,and also, please leave that horse alone. Good night.”

The boy's eyes went to him, and a shock passed through Magnus. They were not Will's eyes, the eyes Magnus remembered being as blue as a night sky in Hell, eyes Magnus has seen both despairing and tender.
This boy has shining golden eyes, like crystal glass filled brimful with crisp white wine and held up to catch the light of a blazing sun. If his skin was luminous, his eyes were radiant. Magnus could not imagine these eyes as tender. The boy was very, very lovely, but his was a beauty like that of Helen of Troy might have had once, disaster written in every line. The light of his beauty made Magnus think of cities burning

Book review Vampires scones and edmund herondale Cassandra clare SPOILERS

Vampires, Scones, and Edmund Herondale (The Bane Chronicles, #3)Vampires, Scones, and Edmund Herondale by Cassandra Clare
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

June 28- 29

When immortal warlock Magnus Bane attends preliminary peace talks between the Shadowhunters and the Downworlders in Victorian London, he is charmed by two very different people: the vampire Camille Belcourt and the young Shadowhunter, Edmund Herondale. Will winning hearts mean choosing sides?

Review : I loved this short story we Meet Edmund Herondale Will's father and we get to see him and his wife meet which was very sweet and then they get engaged and Edmund has to leave the shadowhunter world and Magnus was very fond of him I really love the Herondale men .

“I shall never eat duck again. I cannot believe I used to like duck. The duck betrayed me.

Excuse me, Bane?" said Roderick Morgenstern. "Are you attending?"
"I'm so sorry," Magnus said politely. "Somebody incredibly attractive just came into the room, and I ceased to pay attention to a word you were saying.

“Years later Magnus would return to London and Camille Belcourt's side, and find it not all that he had dreamed. Years later another desperate Herondale boy with blue, blue eyes would come to his door, shaking with the cold of the rain and his own wretchedness, and this one Magnus would be able to help.”

“Flirting? We were merely indulging in a little risqué conversation," Magnus said, offended.
"When I begin to flirt, I assure you the entire room will know. My flirtations cause sensations.

No fewer than four of my esteemed elders told me I was on no account to ever converse with you, so I vowed that I would know you. My name is Edmund Herondale. May I ask your name? They reffered to you only as 'that disgraceful one-warlock show.”
